HOME AUTOMATION

Smart home automation system aims at controlling and/or monitoring home attributes such as lighting, air-conditioning, electrical systems and electrical appliances. Moreover, it could be used for controlling home security such as alarm systems and access control. When the automation system is connected to the Internet, it will constitute an integral part of the Internet of Things (“Iot”). The smart home automation system typically connects the controlled/monitored devices to a central system which is sometimes called “Hub” or “Gateway”. The user interface of the automation system uses mobile phones with dedicated applications, wall-mounted terminals, desktop computers or tablets with Web interface applications that can be accessed on-site or off-site via the Internet.
